The Line It Is Drawn #85, 4/12/12: The Avengers vs. the X-Men! In honor of Avengers vs. X-Men, this week’s topic was just that, Avengers vs. X-Men…at anything BUT just outright brawling. Pick an Avenger then pick an X-Men and then pick something for them to compete it (chess, checkers, skiing, staring contest, arm wrestling, etc.).

I had lots of fun in this one & I'm very happy with how it turned out. I'll leap at any chance to draw Hank McCoy -- he's one of the few people who's been BOTH an X-Man and an Avenger, and making him a game show host just seemed perfect for his happy-go-lucky personality. It was also cool to draw the oh-so-quickly killed off Thunderbird. He wasn't around for long, but Dave Cockrum still gave him one terrific costume!
